About Us:

Welcome to the home of the Meraloma Rugby Club located in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. Our Clubhouse (a Vancouver Heritage Building) and home ground, Connaught Park, is located in Kitsilano, which is the beach-side district in the heart of Vancouver. We compete in the Vancouver Rugby Union, as part of the British Columbia Rugby Union.

We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced players to join and become part of the Vancouver Meraloma Rugby team. By having Men, Women, Junior, Senior and Mini teams, we are able to cater to all interested players at various skill and commitment levels. If you have been playing and enjoying the sport for years, or just wanting to check it out and give it a go, come on down and join the fun!

The Vancouver rugby season each year begins in early September. Training begins mid-August at Connaught Park and runs every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter. The Rugby Club invites all players (new to the game or experienced players) to join us in the social and competitive aspects of our club. Please contact us for more information.

During the summer, we maintain our fitness and skill levels with some spirited touch rugby sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m.

During the summer, rugby in the Vancouver area continues with a multitude of representative rugby and sevens tournaments.

The Meraloma Club was established in 1923 and hosts the sports of Men’s and Women’s Rugby, Cricket, Soccer, Field Hockey, Softball and Basketball. There are currently 350 active female and male members and 100 associate members.
